How to ad a Baby to Insurance

• Even if you currently have family coverage, most insurance companies require you add
• the new baby within the first few weeks of birth
• Call your health insurance company and/or your employer’s Human Resources
• Department within 30 days of birth to add your baby to the insurance policy
• For Medicaid call 1-811-456-1233 within 10 days of your baby’s birth
• If you don’t have health insurance, adding a child to your family may make your eligible for insurance through Your Health Idaho
